Bob Brofft has been involved in swimming since the age of seven, when he began competing in the summer for Chase Club in the Colonial League. Quickly developing a love for the sport, he began swimming year-round with Victor Swim Club, where he qualified for Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke. He received All-Met Honorable Mention twice from the Washington Post while competing for Robinson High School, and finished his career by competing for four seasons at the College of William & Mary, where he graduated in 2006 with a BA in Economics.

This will be Bob’s second season with the Marlins. He is currently the head coach at Camelot Community Club in the NVSL, and has previously coached at Chase Club and Country Club Hills. Bob served as an assistant coach for the 2007 Potomac Valley Long Course Zone Team, and this fall he will begin his first season as an assistant coach at Falls Church High School.
