Coach Megan moved to the Washington, DC area in 1997 from California. She moved to North Carolina in 2002 and received her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Duke University in 2004. She returned to the Washington, DC area at the beginning of 2005 and works full time as a public health specialist for the US Agency for International Development and occasionally gets to leave the country and visit satellite offices all over the world. Coach Megan has been coaching part time off and on since her undergraduate days. Megan was a Junior Marlin coach for the Potomac Marlin’s 2001-2002 season, but left at the end of the season to attend graduate school. While living in Durham, North Carolina, Megan was the head coach of the Duke Faculty Club’s summer swim team for the 2003 season. Megan also worked for three years as an assistant swim coach in the San Francisco, California area for the Martinez Community Swim Team.
