I started swimming as an 8 & under at my local swim club, Flourtown Country Club, in the suburbs of Philadelphia and continued there for the next 8 years. I swam for Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club during the winters for about 5 years or so prior to entering high school. I swam all four years at my high school, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, making suburbans all four years. I also swam for Germantown Cricket Club in the 4 summers before entering college. There I received the Bowdin Award for my dedication to the team and the sport of swimming. I attended McDaniel College in Westminster, MD where I played tennis and recieved my B.A. in Art History and History.
