2010 Friendship MINI MEET
Coming fresh off of her 2010 summer season as the NVSL All Star Champion in the 25 Breast and runner-up in the 25 Fly, Mary Kominski continues to steam up the pool in her most recent performance at the Friendship Mini Meet held on November 14th at the Madiera School in Great Falls. Mary's amazing performance resulted in 3 first place races, 3 best times in each of those events and two new Team Records in the 50 Breast and 100 I.M. Mary's time of 44.42 in the 50 Breast narrowly broke the old record of 44.66 set in 2006. Most impressively, her 100 I.M. time of 1:27.31 shattered one of the oldest team records still in existence (1995) by almost 5 full seconds! WOW! Congrats Mary. Absolutely a GREAT meet performance. KOMPLETELY KRAZY!
Also having a great meet with 3 best time swims and coming off of a great performance at the Halloween Mini Meet in October, was Jeffrey Gerber. Jeff had outstanding 3 personal best performance with his most impressive race in 100 I.M. Jeff took 2nd place honors in the 25 Fly, 5th inthe 25 Back and 11th inthe 100 I.M. Awesome job Jeff!
The top time drop swims of the meet were turned in by Chinquapin Mini Marlins swimmer, Maxwell Dailey. Max's time drops of 18.92 seconds in the 25 back and 16.34 seconds in the 25 Free were mind-blowing when one considers the fact that he improved his 25 Back time by 66% and his 25 Free time by 58%. ( Put two of those kind of meets together and they will be calling you from Colorado Springs very soon!) "Max"imum performance! Keep up the good work!
