2012 Snowdude Mini Meet
Congratulations to the Marlins Snowdude Mini Meet swimmers for yet another great showing of extreme "dudeness & dudetteness". More than half of the swims were first time events and a majority of the swims resulted in best times. Special thanks to the volunteer officials and all of the Marlins volunteer parents who helped make the meet one of the smoothest and most well run Mini Meets on the PVS schedule.
Leading the Marlins time drop assault with a cumulative of 12.69 seconds was Ellie Williamson who had a perfect meet with 5 for 5 best time races. Way to go Ellie! <e-fist-bump>! Close behind with 4 personal bests were Ashlyn Diederich with 9.1 seconds total time drop and Fiona Herbold with an amazing 47.27 seconds drop, most of which came in the 50 Free with the meets largest single event time drop of over 31 seconds. (WOW! must have been a really fast turn?) Awesome job Ashlyn & Fiona!
Mirand Schuman had a great meet too with 3 impressive best time swims totaling 16.7 seconds drop. Great meet Fiona! Nice 100 I.M. too!
Three other Marlins had 2 best times. Jaden Shahin had two nice races with his best swim coming in the 50 Breast with 3.76 seconds drop. Nice job Jaden! Abigail St. Jean had another great weekend in her growing string of great meet performances with 2 best times and the meets third largest single event time drop of 9.56 seconds in the 25 Free (WOW! must have been a really fast start?) Sarah Yoon swam two great races with the 50 Back being her top performance. Excellent job everyone!
Keep up the good work DUDES and DUDETTES! We hope to see all eligible 8 & unders at the next Mini Meet in February!
